Winchester announced no more 32 Short Colt ammo or brass will be made, a guy on Gunbroker is selling Fiocchi 32 Short Corto ammo as replacement. The 32 short Colt was based on the 320 ammo, which is for British Bulldog revolvers & clones in that caliber. The main difference is the Corto has a little larger diameter heeled bullet than the Colt which is also heeled. Has anyone on here tried the Corto's in a 32 short Colt or know someone who has?

I do not know the dimensions of the Fiocchi .32 Short Corto. It is possible that it is really the .32 S&W by a different name. I suppose Fiocchi product information would clarify exactly what it is. .32 S&W will not interchange with the .32 Short Colt. The European .320 Short (Webley) cartridge is interchangeable with the .32 Short Colt, so it is possible that the Fiocchi .32 Corto cartridge is the same as the .320 Webley, and therefore is interchangeable with the .32 Short Colt.

And Corto is Spanish and Italian for "Short", so to say .32 short short is really nonsensical!

Interesting, i'm looking for some .32ShortColt brass for a little "Bulldog"
Nice to know there will be new made. :D

There really isn't any readily available case today which can be easily modified to .32 Short Colt dimensions. I'd say it will never again be made due to the very limited market demand, and the collector market is probably the only source. Someone may be turning .32 SC cases out of brass barstock, but that gets very expensive. If the Fiocchi ammo is indeed the same as .32 SC, it would be worthwhile to see if you can lay in a stockpile of it. I have never seen it.

Like these you mean?
32 Short Colt Brass Cases|32 Short Colt Reloading Supplies|Shooting Supplies

But at $1.20 each made from 32S&W Long, i could probably make them my self.
