Best TV shows of all time.

Seinfeld
Newhart, the one with Larry, Darrel & Darrel
Andy Griffith
The origianal SNL, those guys also made my favorite movies.
One that I never saw when it was out but now in reruns, It's always sunny in Philadelphia.

TCC . . . The Chimp Channel. Funny beyond comprehension.

Dark Angel leaps to mind although they DID pull the plug just in time. The story had run it's course.

Breaking Bad & Then Call Saul are both riveting.

Star Trek TNG

For brainless comedy you just can't beat Married with Children

Modern Family. Ed O'neill is a lucky guy. Two of the hawtest TV wives EVAHR! ;)

Let's talk quality television. Put up your favorite.

What's your choice for great TV?

There's been a smattering of entertaining productions through the years, and most of my favorites have already been listed here.

There is one TV offering from WGBH in Boston that has brought me exceptional entertainment for 45 years, and that is the Masterpiece anthology of work.

It started as Masterpiece Theater and has morphed into Masterpiece Classic and Masterpiece Mystery. It's the one production I'd pick to watch, if I had to pick only one.

My avatar is the swooning woman from the intro to Masterpiece Mystery!. :)

Enough posters have already cited the several Star Trek series, so let me mention another space-related show:

The Invaders

...that 1.5 season Quinn Martin show starring Roy Thinnes and his "little green men." Other shows from that '67-'68 time period seem dated, but not The Invaders. Guess my usual "For every Jack there's a Jill" mantra applies here.

My taste in tv programing has drastically changed over the years, I have not watched any American made tv or suffered through their empty your pockets advertising for at least 10-12 years.

I changed venue and started watching programing from primarily the British Isles. Give me a couple episodes of All Creatures Great and Small , Last of the Summer Wine, Fawlty Towers to name just a few along with many Masterpiece Theater programs.

I'll offer an eclectic list...

Honeymooners
Sons of Anarchy
Cheers
Breaking Bad

In the sit-com category: Frasier

Western: Bonanza

Cop show: Blue Bloods, Criminal Minds

Honorable mention: 24, Walking Dead

I just remembered one of my favorites the Peter Gunn(Craig Stevens) detective series. He epitomized the super cool sleuth with a neat hangout - Mothers and a sexy girlfriend - Lola Albright! One of the 1st cars I even owned was a Plymouth Sport Fury convertible and I was influenced by this show!

How about the original "Man Show"? Immature, crude, but funny. Kind of like a broadcast of a frat party.

That Kimmel & Carolla are geniuses is only proven by how fast The Man Shot tanked when they left.

My favorite bit was the visit to Snoop Dogg's crib! :D

Breaking Bad

I finally caught the last couple of seasons this month when AMC (IIRC) ran another marathon. My DVR was messed up during the last one.

I agree... one of the GOAT. The final episode was awesome.

Better Call Saul has been picked up for a 2018 season! :D
