Best TV shows of all time.

Top Gear, British version. More of a modern classic I suppose.

Frasier

Gunsmoke

Andy

I didn't see the Munster's mentioned.

Lassie

Firefly, tho short lived.

There were a lot of variety shows in the 60/70's Ed Sullivan, The Dean Martin Roasts etc.

Have you noticed that comedy on tv has changed to being more cruel than comedy? Nothing funny about Trump jokes (example not political) anymore it's a dead horse and their still beating it. It's chopped into dog food,

Here's an olde. I vaguely remember the guys and music I was 9yo.

1959????

How old were you at this time?
It feels like another life?

Turn back the clock when a cheeseburger deluxe came with lettuce, tomato, real cheese, fried, a pickle in a real dish for a real dollars worth.

The contents of my Top 10 list vary with the seasons and the years, but somehow The Wire and Breaking Bad are always there. I guess that means they are my personal favorites. And of course there are dozens of shows that I have watched and appreciated without ever feeling there was anything of lasting importance playing out in front of my eyes.

Based on comments here I am going to launch into Better Call Saul, which I have avoided until now because I was afraid it was going to be a pale rip on Breaking Bad. I'm glad to hear that many think it is as good as or even better than its predecessor.

The Phil Silvers Show

The Dina Shore Chevy Show

Ozzie and Harriet

The Lone Ranger and his faithful companion Tonto

Carol Reed 'The Weather Girl'

Pettie Coat Junction,,,, uncle joe?

Anyone remember "What in the World'? They'd have a group of archeologists, and hand them an artifact. They were supposed to date it and assign it to a culture. Talk about watching how great minds worked!!!

I also liked;
Sherlock Holme wih Jeremy Brett.
The Red Green Show.
Top Gear.
Jay Leno's Garage.

So many of the shows I enjoyed over the years have been mentioned.
Gunsmoke
Bonanza
Barney Miller
Gilligans Island
I Love Lucy
Currently Blue Bloods is pretty good, of course I like most anything with Tom Selleck in it.
