Maybe someone has said this but I haven't noticed it...

I think that was the point. They just did, but in a trying-to-be-humorous manner so as not to be TOO rude about it.
Sal, I'm glad that we were able to bring a little joy and sunshine into your day; and in an effort to make it even better let me add my all time pet peeve anyone who uses the word TOY when referring to any type of firearm.

I'm guilty of Clips, grips and calling revolvers pistols. I doubt that

The suffix "-ish", as in "I paid $300-ish for this gun", or "I'll be there at 4 O'clock-ish". Sounds like a 15 year old Valley Girl. Gag me. It has no place in masculine dialog.
