Fanboy. Particularly when used to describe someone who likes Glock pistols.

It isn't simply a cliché. It's an insult...and a stupid one at that.

It sounds like something a 12-year-old would say.

Maybe someone has said this but I haven't noticed it...

Quote a post, rearrange or change a couple of words and proudly proclaim to the world,

"Fixed it for you."

No, you didn't "fix" anything. They said what they said, and I'm sure they meant what they said. If you don't agree with it, stand up on your own two feet and say what you think.

I think that was the point. They just did, but in a trying-to-be-humorous manner so as not to be TOO rude about it.

Sal, I'm glad that we were able to bring a little joy and sunshine into your day;); and in an effort to make it even better let me add my all time pet peeve anyone who uses the word TOY when referring to any type of firearm.

Ding,Ding,Ding WINNER!! This is my one and only true pet peeve. So much so that I can't resist calling out the irresponsible person who posted it. Everything else meh, I can live with.

I prefer to call "em' squirt guns....ie....water pistols......

And that's pretty freaking stupid too, man. I doubt you would enjoy getting shot by a "squirt gun" as you call it.

I rather enjoy all the clever metaphors. Cringe if you wish, or enjoy.

I think they've all been covered except maybe:

"I have absolutely no idea on how to answer your question. However, I'm sure someone will come along shortly to answer it for you".

Well gee, why did you even post??

I'm guilty of Clips, grips and calling revolvers pistols. I doubt that
I'll change my ways at this late date. Although it's not the right
name, it is kind of a regional thing. Yea, I was one of those guys
running around the formation yelling this is my rifle this is my
gun this one is for shooting, this one is for fun. Only once, I am
a fast learner.

Two words....."Rig" and "Fanny Pack" Just not right.
Well, I guess that's three.
