What a great finish last night to keep the winning streak going. Turned the game on in the 9th inning and we were loosing 2-1. We had a player on second base with 2 outs and 2 strikes on the batter. Didn't look good. Lindor gets a hit that ties the game, on to the 10th inning. Ramirez gets a double to open the 10th and Jay Bruce a walk off hitter gets a single down the right sideline to win the game.

The people didn't leave the stadium right away after the game. Great finish, hope win number 23 comes tonight. Larry

As a long suffering tribe fan I've been smiling a lot the last few weeks, this streak has all upside and no down unlike losing game 7 in extra innings

I was glad to see Cleveland keep the winning streak going. They just finished winning three straight against the hapless Tigers.

They gave Bruce a double on his game winning hit. I thought a walk off was either a single or a home run if it left the park. Bruce would have easily made 2nd and Ramiriz scored from 2nd so I guess since winning run advanced 2 bases that's why JB got credit for a double.

I used the word walk off only to mean that he was brought out to bat replacing the original batter. Not really involved with baseball to know all the meanings of terms used. Just glad the city is excited about the Tribe and tonight the excitement and pressure continues. Larry

I saw my first Reds game at Crosley Field in '66. Win or lose, I am a lifelong fan. I have also been to many inter-league Reds/Indians games , both home and away. While in Cleveland, the fans always treated us well as, regardless of what Sam Wyche said, as we are Instate teams connected by I-71.

I always root for the Tribe in the AL as a Reds/Indians World Series miracle would certainly be something to see before this old Buckeye checks out.

As for this year, I hope you Indians fans get your wish.

Nice game but good ole Chief Wahoo fell short. Nice record with a 22 game winning streak. The fans are again not leaving the park after the game and gave them a standing ovation. Good memory, Larry

When Rocky Colavito was with them I was a big fan.
Which time? I'm really showing my age when I tell people I remember watching Terry Francona's father playing for the Indians.
I'm a displaced fan having left the Cleveland area to find work 40 years ago. When I left home to go to school I used to listen to the night games on the flagship station WKYC/WWWE/WTAM 1100 AM. I just ran into a guy who lived in my dorm 40 years ago and he still remembers me doing that.

Don't ever let the PC crowd get rid of Chief Wahoo.

Unfortunately the ownership is caving in to the PC police by using the squared-off "C" as the primary logo instead of Chief Wahoo. Some of the Chief Wahoo stuff is starting to disappear. I bought a calculator from the Tribe Shop with Chief Wahoo on it. When I looked to buy another one the Tribe Shop on listed one with the squared C.

I quit my church denomination because they were leading the charge to get rid of Chief Wahoo. I used to get in their face by wearing my batting practice jersey with Chief Wahoo on the chest to church functions. Out of respect for my late father I make gifts in kind to his local congregation but I won't give them money that can be sent to church HQ and spent on causes I disagree with.
