What guns make you think you want another of the same

Lot of guns out there. But sometimes you come to obtain a piece that gives you so much gun for your dollar that you want another.

My paired items are few and far between

1) A 5" pre-27 with non-numbered stocks convinced me I needed the same model with matching stocks,

2) A 1931 Remington 17 with checkered wood made me get an earlier 17 with a rimgtail pumphandle

3) A 1937 Winchester 97 factory riot is telling me I need another

I have a SW 13-3, 3 inch and want another one, earlier with counter bored cylinders.

I also have a Glock 26, 3rd gen, and really want a 4th or 5th gen.

I have been carrying a Kahr CM9 for a few years, I love it so when a CM9 came up recently for sale, cheap, I bought it.

I also have a SW 19-2 2.5in, I love it, but it is really too pretty to carry and possibly damage so when I found a 19-3, 4 inch, in well worn condition, I made an offer and to my surprise the shop took it!

While not exactly twins, My Model 19's come close. Here's my Model 19-3 2 1-2" on the left, and my Model 19-5 2 1/2" on the right.

I've had the 19-5 for over ten years, and have shot it a lot. It was like new in the box when I bought it. The 19-3 is a recent acquisition. It came with the original stocks, which I have upgraded, but no box.

There are two I wanted more of:
1. Got a P39/P1 and liked it so much I wanted the next "generation" and bought a P4.
2. A S&W P99 got me interested in the all Walther P99AS and I liked that so much I got the P99cAS.

I have been addicted to Ruger No.1's since the first time I saw one! I currently only have two a pre-76 in 7x57 and a early 2000's 218 Bee. I have also owned a 375 H&H, and shot several others.

They have an elegance that just cannot be rivaled! I have owned multiple examples of many types of firearms, AR's, AK's, M-1's, 1903's Win 92's, Marlin 1894's & 1895's, S&W J, K, L, & N Frames and Colt and other 1911's. Not one has the elegance of a Ruger No.1!

A close second place would be Browning Superposed shotguns!

Being of limited means, wishing to continue my marriage, I have never had the joy of owning multiple Double Rifles. The one I have is almost enough, but they still stand in the shadows calling to me!

That scenario just happened to me. For five years now I have been madly in love with my 3rd Gen 4506. I often thought I should buy another. However, I could not find another nice one. The ones I did see were pretty beat up. Well, that problem was corrected last week when I found a pristine 4506-1 in a LGS.

Here's my first 4506 no dash. I don't have pics of my new 4506-1 yet.

Currently I have FOUR Ruger SR1911 pistols, 3 in 45 ACP and one in 9mm. IMO the best bang for the buck in a 1911 and the 9mm is a real powder puff to shoot up lots and lots of cheap 9mm.

Also have two Sig Sauer P239 pistols in 40 caliber. A very accurate pistol even if the slide to frame fit can be rather accurately described as a baby rattle. Have over 6000 rounds downrange with #1 without one single failure of any description which is the primary reason I purchased #2.

My next duplicate will most likely be another Ruger LC9S Pro. It has also proven to be 100% reliable with any ammo on the market and has a wonderful trigger for a striker fired pistol. And yes it is a bit "snappy" with 115 grain range ammo but with 124 and 147 grain loads it's not too bad. BTW, I get a bit of trigger bite with the 115 grain range fodder which is why anytime I see 124 grain RN on sale I snap it up quickly.
