Picked this little baby up today at my LGS. Been packing it around most of the day in a Remora sticky. Love it! Oh, serial number is: CZA435* for dating purposes.

Love me some revolvers...;-)

These are wonderful revolvers, and mine is easy shooting, and with the great sights, they are surprisingly accurate!! I like the cut for moon clips as well, but you don't need to use them, but they're there if you want to.

I just added stag grips and a Tyler T grip to mine:

details from Wikipedia

A Roman architect claimed a structure must possess three attributes: it must be solid, useful and beautiful. In the late 1800s an American architect, believing in the Roman's thinking, coined the phrase, "Form follows function."

Les, I've seen lots of 640 Pros with various grip configurations. I carry one everyday, but I've never thought of one conforming to Louis Sullivan's phrase till I saw yours. The stags and Tyler, where they intersect on the side plate, form a perfect tulip. I've noted that form on other revolvers sporting Tyler T grip extenders, but the lighting in your photo, the stag and Tyler materials, the conceptual power of the .357 Magnum and the flutes on the barrel and cylinder seem to me to scream Sullivan's phrase. There's a simplicity and beauty I've not seen on any other 640 Pro. Bravo!!

I've had my new 640 Pro for a week now and it is a Sheer Joy. I've been to the range 3 times in the last week bathing in the Joy of the night sights, the performance center action job is smooth as glass and No stupid lock. It's my favorite revolver since the 70's. Writing this makes me want to go to the range tomorrow.

Got my 640 Pro yesterday. Night sights, CT Laser and no lock. It doesn't get much better than that, Can't wait to get to the range.

Same setup here. I’ve had it a year or so and agree with the others, this is an awesome package. I really like the CT grips not only for the laser, but the finger grooves and padded back strap just add to the comfort level.

The Remora is a great holster for that gun. That is a very underrated holster manufacturer. The flexibility of carry position options made me buy a number of them for all my small guns.
Keep a loaded moonclip around for quick loading when you are on the way out the door. No more loose rounds rattling around.

Dang, that’s sexy! I thought my pro with factory bananas was the shizel, until I saw your stags and Tyler T.

Lou, our own bgmtnman here on the forum made those grips. He lives over in Ft. Collins, CO. He does good work, and these are the second set that I bought from him. They are American elk, and I'm real pleased with them. They will not be the last pair that I buy from him!! The Tyler is borrowed from my Model 60 that I used to carry during my LE career.

Thanks for the kind words. I like your carry rig too.

Best Regards, Les

Great carry and they shoot great! One thing I found out is not to use the cheapo moon clips . They bend easy and bind up your cylinder and could get you shot full of holes with a useless pistol. I use the speed strips loaded with 6 not 5. I have seen more than one jam up on the moon clips.
