Does anyone remember Jade east, english leather and brut cologne

It makes me stuffy just to remember those. I would start sneezing every time I walked past a perfume/cologne counter. I am very allergic to musk. The only thing I can, and still do, wear is Old Spice.

I think of all the money I saved by never using any after shave or cologne. My best friend in college always used Canoe (as I remember it wasn't pronounced like the boat, but more like can-o-way), and a co-worker after I got my first job out of college used (lots of) Hai Karate. Ghastly stuff.

Fortunately my wife can't stand any kind of cologne or perfume and has never used any either.

Still my favorite:

Haven't worn after shave for many years, but I liked Blue Stratos.

I remember all of those mentioned. Now that I am an "Old Man" I wear my father, who passed, his Old Spice

There are too many responses to go through them all. I see someone mentioned Hai Karate. There are several others I had forgotten about. Has anyone mentioned 007?

I'm going to risk a ding here. This is from Joan Rivers. What does Elizabeth Taylor put behind her ears to attract men? Her knees.

How did you know what I am wearing tonight
Love the open neck shirts and bell bottom plaid pants.
Sold the gold chains to pay for health care premiums !!

We had a dispatcher who wore some god awful scent that we deduced was sold in 55 gallon drums and came with a pump handle spray devise that she used liberally before coming to work.

It was easier than taking a shower. [emoji46]

I probably had at least one bottle of most of the stuff mentioned, but my mother was friends with an "Avon Lady" so there was always a lot of Avon around in "collectors" bottles. Oh, wait. I do remember English Leather, Sea Foam? Or something like that.

I grew a beard about 40 years ago, so I haven't had much use for after-shave lately.

My wife still wears "Lady Stetson" perfume if that counts for anything.

I used Jade East for a while. Might could have gotten used to English Leather but I worked with a guy that never bathed and tried to cover it up with English Leather and I always thought Musk smelled like a skunk right from the get go. I use Joop now and sometimes Passion by Elizabeth Taylor but Joop by Homme is my favorite.

when I was traveling overseas a lot 70s,80s early 90s aftershave & men's cologne were prime duty free purchases, along with booze of course.
some other brands I remember
Paco Rabanne, Vetiver, Agua Brava.
That fad seems to have gone away

When I was a kid, a man wearing Old Spice beat me with a cane, and left me bloody. I hate that smell to this day.

...I think Sea Foam is a fuel additive...
