In the past their age group 18 to 20 something, had poor turnouts on elections.

We heard that so many times, but the strongest, most dependable voting force is the elderly. Let them vote, but be damn sure that we vote also. A million kids nationwide is nothing compared to the 5.5 million NRA members alongside another almost 80 million law abiding gun owners. That does not take into account those non gun owners that just don't want to give up their rights.

..commitments – yeah, sure, capitalizing on a tragedy for his own benefit. A look at his bank account, charge card, hotel bills, travel bills, etc., might be interesting to see what CNN, Bloomberg, et al. have comped him or given him outright, and what promises for the future said organizations have made to him for being their shill.

As to being 18 and serving in the military, well, I've said before that our youth in the military are heavily trained and work under strict supervision, and they know harsh penalties will follow if they mess up. It's nowhere near the same thing for 90% of our non-military 18 year-olds, but they demand the same privileges as those in the military without the same responsibility. I'd just as soon see voting, drinking, and driving go to age 21 or more, except for those in active military service.

I hope the mods don't mind this crack but, hogg looks like the 2nd kid on the left in the HJ pix. I wonder if they are related?

I'm in agreement there. What I was talking about was no reason to jokingly not think she wasn't a girl-but that is as far as I go with her,. And besides-she with short hair-reminded me of the woman I lost last year due to cancer-who lost her hair due to chemo. Other than that, making fun of her appeareance isn't good, but beliefs and such-absolutely--fair game and I'm with you 100%.

Heh heh, the propaganda ministries would self implode if they heard what radio talk show hosts like: Eric von Wade, Bob Jones, Joe Pags, Cigar Dave, Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity say.. Ive never had time to listen to complete broadcasts of any, but sometimes can get in an hour or so from a couple here and there.
