It looks worn. That raises questions about the rest of the pistol. If you like the model I'd ask for a replacement. If they won't go for that, tell me you'll take their check.
or ask for a new slide stop.
Black sharpie.
I haven't seen anything that bad on a new pistol for years. You have every right to be very angry over this egregious oversight and blatant damage.
Question--if somebody put wear marks on the pistol after it left the factory and before it got to you, how is that a problem with Glock's QC?
I'm thinking somebody in the supply chain either swapped the slide stop, or it rubbed on something in the box.
No such outrage to my new M&P. Step up from Glock.
"So who do I sue? " Over a slide stop? The rest of the pistol that is shown looks brand new. Maybe some one in the supply chain changed it out for some reason? Who knows? I doubt if it left the factory like that. Ask for a new slide stop.
It's self-inflicted. You bought a Glock.So who do I sue?
What does the other side look like? Could this gun been on a shelf somewhere prior to you purchasing it? I ask because my Glock 32 sat in a showcase for 49 weeks before I bought it. The slide release (left side) looked like your photo. The gun rested on that part.
It's self-inflicted. You bought a Glock.
