Glock Totally Unacceptable Quality Control

Not particularly, since I arrived at the LGS within about an hour of delivery. What's the exact rule on that . . . ?

Still believe it has to be logged first.
Guess they could do it at the same time as the transfer, but have never seen an FFL do it tat way.

I would say it depends on the use you plan on it having ? If it's a new gun to be put away and never used, then yes, be irritated. If you're going to use it for range and carry use, I wouldn't even bother because after a little time it'll be right back to where it is now. It's a high spot, so will rub on anything the gun comes in contact with first.

As long as there is no other wear indicating it was previously used/fired, I wouldn't stress over it.

Mine did for me in 2003 because he knew I was picky,and I was adding a costly one to my collection.

Wow looking at a lot of replys ( and at risk at getting spanked ) Wow is my safest word to type. The O P bought a new gun it should be in brand new condition . I like him accept nonthing less and have bought all mine to date new. Me now being retired and on a very tight budget you want what you pay for. Keep us advised O P I am with 110 %.

Picked this up today. Blue Label Glock 45. The right side slide stop lever is degraded. Calling Glock tomorrow. Do I ask for a full refund or a new pistol . . . ?

I would demand a new slide stop lever *and* a new set of walnut stocks for it.

It was before I left with it. I guess I don't understand. Perhaps you've never been close enough to the process . . .

No matter when you arrived. I guarantee that when you opened the box, he verified the serial number and logged it in. Then did your background check and logged it out.
