I bought my Lee Classic Turret Press several years ago, when funds were tight and I just needed to "...just get by..." Since then, I have been able to afford more/better equipment, however, I have never really needed anything "better" other than adding an adjustable charge bar to my Auto-Disc Pro powder dispenser and adding a RCBS 505 scale. I continually can get all my handgun loads within +-0.1gr consistently with the Auto-Disc Pro. I trickle my Rem .222 reloads, but that is a different story all together ;).

THAT SAID, I had a brainfart when pouring my powder hopper back into the powder storage bottle. While re-capping the powder bottle, my turret with dies and the Auto-Disc Pro attached, rolled off my work bench toward the floor. I stuck my leg out to break the fall (aka minimize damage), but ended up breaking the powder hopper off at the neck...:( Angered at myself, I called Lee Precision to re-order the correct part...

I was then informed that the needed part was FREE! All I had to do was pay shipping.

THANK YOU LEE PRECISION! I know there are numerous "higher" quality companies out there, but when it comes down to service Lee is tops, IMO. :D:D:D

I am in complete agreement with you regarding the customer support at Lee Precision.
Years and years ago (20+), I purchased a used Lee Loadmaster after using a single stage for several years.
Being new to the progressive world, I contacted Lee Precision and asked if I could send my Loadmaster back to them for inspection and replacement of any defective or broken parts. They said send it back.
I did and when they returned it, they listed several parts that they replaced and at the bottom was a note that said No Charge and enjoy my new Loadmaster.
Great people to deal with.

Good customer service breeds customer loyalty.

And bad service has the opposite effect, which some companies never learn.

Reloading equipment manufacturers as a group seem to really be a class act. LEE, Hornady, Dillon, RCBS all seem to have stellar customer service. It is especially refreshing nowadays, when every other business has cut it back to almost nonexistent.

I agree, as a group they do seem to be great.

I have found shooters, fishermen and reloaders to be the friendliest people anywhere.

I finally broke down and ordered the new primer feeder the smaller on came with out a plunger so I called and was sent the missing part with no questions asked. I also once needed a decaping pin and ordered one and was informed it was free except shipping. Got to love it.

Yup. As I understand it that is true for just about any replaceable part - but only one time for each item. If you need a second replacement you have to pay for it. That's still a mighty generous parts policy IMO...

I agree, Lee's customer service is top notch, as is RCBS. Only two I have used for CS. I know a lot of folks talk down on Lee equipment but I have loaded 9mm, 40 s&w, 45 acp, 38 sp, 357 mag, 308 and 222 Rem with no problems at all. Works for me.
