Hello Everyone.
Few weeks ago i owned a Smith and Wesson M&P 40 Shield as a carry weapon. I have been having a hard time finding a good kydex holster for m&p shield to carry. I tried a couple of them and they were terrible. Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks You.

We could use a little more information.

Let's start off with what one's didn't you like, and what didn't you like about them.

How do you plan on carrying. outside the waistband(owb), inside the waisband(iwb), appendix, etc?

I prefer leather OWB holsters, carry my Shield in a DeSantis.

However, I had a used Glock 26 and 43 that came with Kydex IWB holsters made by Vedder. They were well made, comfortable and secure.

This is the Vedder and Glock 43.

CYA has a kydex IWB Shield holster. I bought a used one from a forum member and it works for me. They have a web site you can order from and I think it is a Veteran owned company.

Have a blessed day,

Leon

I use a DeSantis scabbard for my 9mm Shield, and I know they make for the 40 also. It is an OWB and holds secure but with easy access. They sell on Amazon in the mid $30 range.

I highly recommend taking a look at the Vedder light tuck like I've got for my Shield 9. They're made specifically for your model gun, adjustable cant, three height settings and are extremely light but strong.
