How about we start a thread titled "movies". Instead of adding movie viewing suggestions and they wind up appearing thruout the lounge you add your movie thought to the end of the same thread. That way you could review the post/thread anytime you were hunting for a film to watch.

Great idea!! Here's some I found on Netflix and AmazonPrime;

The Highwaymen
Bone Tomahawk
The Ballad Of Buster Scruggs
The Outlaw King
How it Ends
The Woodsman
April 9th
The Wall
The Ballad of Lefty Brown
Big Legend

Most are adventure, some historical, some fantasy. A couple are English sub titled. A little horror and a couple of Bigfoot (Bigfeet?) movies.

Last night we watched 'A Family Thing' with Robert Duvall and James Earl Jones. They made their roles as half brothers believable.

It was very touching at times and Aunt T made us both cry.

The film did its job.

We like the movie a lot. Fine performances from Duvall and Jones but by far the best character who steals the show is Aunt T. Wonderful character that I love her comment about being blind and how she can't hate someone because of their color and that Duvall is her sister's child so he is family and stays with them, get used to it. I got a kick out her feeling Duvall(Earl Pilcher) his face and chuckling that he is just as bald now as when he came into the world.

An old one I like is the Ralph Bakshi movie Wizards. I claim to be like Blackwolf but gets told I actually resemble Avatar, short, chubby and an old fart with a bit of a dirty mind. LOL

In The Cut (staring Meg Ryan) To bad she waited till she was forty to get nude!

The Cabinet of Dr Caligari.......

I've wanted to see this forever, but I was a little disappointed. The most stand out was the EXTREME German Expressionist sets with everything at crazy angles and 'off' lighting. Groundbreaking, yes. But it ain't no 'M' with Peter Lorre or even 'Nosferatu'. I was just glad to add it to my 'watched' pictures.

Started to watch 'The Philadlephia Story" and I just couldn't get into it.

Some Like It Hot .......timelessly funny

The Big Sleep.......GREAT Bogie lines

The latest movie I saw was 'Bohemian Rhapsody' and it was EXCELLENT in every respect.

Dredd
Das Boot
The enemy Below
The Fifth Element
District 9
True Grit
Hatari!

If any of these movies are on, I have to sit and watch.

"Lawless"

I think Amazon prime or NF - cant recall..

Prohibition Virginia
Bootleggers , crooked cops and politicians
Lots of shoot em' up
good ol' boys versus Chicago mob trying to muscle in

100% dude flick
(Jessica Chastain from Zero Dark 30 fame )

"The Mountain II" on Amazon Prime. Turkish special forces rescuing a journalist captured by ISIS.

The Sand Pebbles-my favorite King of Cool movie.
The Last Detail-just because Jack Nicholson makes one heck of a Salty Sailor!
Original "Planet of the Apes" because Charlton Heston!

One movie I have never seen (seriously) is "Vanishing Point" with Barry Newman as Kowalski. I can't find it any streaming service, only the redux with Vito Mortensen is available. Anyone know how I can watch it?

One of my favorites:

Burn: staring Marlon Brando as an 18th century British agent fomenting a slave rebellion against the Portuguese in the Lesser Antilles.

You'll need locate a DVD to see this one.
