And I only bought TWO items. This is ridiculous. And this is one reason why I almost always keep walking, cross the street, and go to Walgreens instead. I mean, come on! Five feet of paper for two little items?! This has gotten out of hand. For those of you with bad eyes, this receipt measures 58 inches, or 4'10". Insanity.

Tear off the part with the amount and ask the clerk to please recycle the rest, or better yet to put it on the managers desk.

That one is trophy size. The last two times I went to CVS all I bought was a 12-pack of Bud. Hey at $10.99 a 12-pack it's a good price. On each of the receipts I found a $1 Extrabuck coupon. They were close to expiring so I went to CVS this afternoon and bought a loaf of Nature's Own Honey Wheat Bread. I tossed down the two Extrabuck coupons and 29 cents, and walked away with a fresh loaf of bread. I find the paper handy to use to test knife edge sharpness when sharpening knives. So long as they give me good deals, I really do not mind there marketing ploys. Simply because they give me a coupon does not mean it is a good deal, but every once in a while those coupons present a good deal.

I guess you don't use coupons. By the time I get around to being in CVS again they have expired anyway. Same thing with my local ACE hardware coupon and I have to spend $25 to use it before the expiration date. Guess how many time I have been able to use a coupon. Seldom if ever.

Well, that's my brand of bread, but I prefer the Whole Wheat version.

There's a CVS near me, but I just get almost everything they have at my grocer, which has a pharmacy.

They had the Whole Wheat too. Do you get it for 29 cents at you grocery store? Actually, I have a CVS about 300 yards from my front door and a Walgreens is across the street from it. It's easy for me to go and buy one or two items when they offer a bargain deal.

What you don't stop to think about is guys like me were put out of a good paying job making that thermal paper when people decided they wanted everything electronic. We made that paper out of 60% recycled paper so little harm is done and 340 of us lost our jobs in one day. So I hope all is better with you now that you walk across the street to keep putting good Americans out of work.

I quit going to CVS when they decided to stop selling tobacco products. I'm not a smoker but take exception when someone decides what's good for me. No tobacco but they still sell alcohol.

I've been hoping they belly up but so far I'm disappointed.

So you only shop at stores that sell tobacco products? I've never been to a gun store that sells tobacco products. Where do you buy your guns?
