Idle hands

Today I had nothing on the agenda after mowing, poor planning I guess
I live on the family farm, dad owns the land and buildings but has retired close to 10 years ago.....lots of old junk in the barns. I had rescued 2 old lanterns years ago and hung them in my gun room after knocking the loose dirt off. I never had considered it until a couple days ago I was in a big box home improvement store and noticed some LED lightbulbs that kind of looked like a candle.

I am not a very crafty person but today I put two and two to gather and I thought the results were as good or better than I had hoped!

I am glad that I never took the dirt and dust off of the glass globe as it helps conceal the lightbulb inside

I do consider it reasonably safe... the door is from a local bank vault removed when the bank moved and the building sold.... even back then they had layers of protection built into the vault door

Every time I try to organize or clean it I end up with less room and have a hard time getting all my junk back in
