60 degrees, Spring is in the air!

It was nice again yesterday, so rode over to the military base to use their safety course parking lot to work on slow-speed stuff. The lines are permanently painted so anyone with access to the base can practice.

The ten-day forecast says I won't be riding again anytime soon.

:(

When I took my MSF course, it was at a local college campus in one of their overflow parking lots. The lines are always there. Literally right off a major street. When the traffic gets bad you can sometimes see 2-3 guys out there doing figure eights rather than sit in traffic.

I never winterize the bike because it seldom gets too cold for too long.

We broke 60 today so after a rowdy morning of yard work, I took the Guzzi out to blow the dust off.

Maybe this summer I'll do the house painting I planned on doing two years ago...

Might have been interesting if we knew the location.

I believe he's on the wet left-coast side of WA. That looks like it may be Puget Sound in the photo. I suspect they're predicting rain for the next week or two.
Here on the dry RIGHT side of WA our extended forecast is for daytime highs in the low 50's and mostly dry for the next 10 days. My rule of thumb is I only ride when the temps are above 55 and its dry out.
One of the carbs on my old Goldwing needs a float adjustment - it doesn't quite shut off the flow to the bowl, so it seeps a few drops out of the overflow. I'm gonna' pull the carbs and adjust that float first of this next week so it is ready for warmer weather!
Hopefully this is REALLY the start of spring, and not just a little warm spell. I'm ready to be done with winter - even though it has been a pretty mild one.
