I know they are both compact but is one the smaller version of the 4563 and one the smaller version of the 4566? One bigger? Or is one smaller then the other?

Pretty confident the numbers tell you that the 4513 is an alloy frame pistol, while the 4516 is all stainless. That handy little S&W number chart some helpful person posted will show you.
I have the 4513TSW early model, round guard, and am no resource about the others. I do know there is not much grip area for my medium hands. My pinkie dangles like on a mousegun. My 5906 is a big heavy handful by way of comparison.
Love them both!

Other differences:

All 4513s are TSW's. No 4516s are TSWs.

Early 4513s are 6 in the mag, one in the chamber. Later 4513s are 7 in the mag, one in the chamber. All 4516s are 7 in the mag, one in the chamber.

4513s from the Performance Center are Shorty 45s. There were not any 4516s from the Performance Center except possibly for a unicorn nobody seems to have ever seen, but is documented on paper.

4516s come in no-dash, dash-1, and dash-2 versions, and you have to be careful which mags you use depending on which version you have. 4513s don't come in dash versions.

What else did I miss, guys?

Just that the later 4513s had a light rail, and no 4516s had a light rail. Well, except for those rail later 4513 that didn't have a rail.

Here is a pic of the scarce rail free 7-shot mag 4513TSW, special order for LE, to hold you over till you find one 4T5GUY. ;) Regards 18DAI
