How Old Is Everyone?

Growing up is optional.

Its been said that wisdom comes with age.
I've found that age often comes all alone.

I turned 57 last November.
My wife and I recently went on a road trip to visit some friends and family. We stayed the night with a friend she's known since she went to college. He was our age and complained about aches, pains and how he needs to get his cataracts removed.
My wife's brother's 9 years her junior and he's turning grey and his wife and my wife were discussing their menopause symptoms.
My wife and I took pictures of our nephew on the day he was born, he's now 17 years old.
Thing is, I don't remember aging.
I'm still hiking, biking and working out at the gym.
Must be the beer and cigars....

I don't feel my age. I feel really good, thanks to my artificial knees, a couple of coronary stents, and cardiac rehab. And my bad cholesterol (LDL) is way down into the double digits, but so is my social security number...

I take solace in knowing that the ex-wife is catching up. When I was four years old I was twice as old as her. Not anymore.

Just remember one thing. She will only really catch up with your age if you stop having Birthdays. Just wish that never happens.
