You're in the ballpark. Those are the playing speeds in revolutions per minute of sound recordings on a turntable. I have records that are played at each of those speeds, including a 78 rpm record of "Earth Angel" by the Penguins from 1955.
I worked at a Shell station in Phoenix, AZ after graduating HS in '61. A new station went up across the street and the price war was on. We were selling gas for .17 cents a gallon, and the boss was tearing his hair out.
For us it was Mom wanting to watch Liberace and Bishop Fulton J. Sheen.
Dad would make fun of Liberace and it would make Mom angry.
My Dad always said if the flies landed on the beer rings on the bar, it was a good beer, and if they didn't don't drink it.

When there were only three channels and if the President was on it ruined your evening...
Tomney's Pharmacy had wooden floors, and an all dark wood, four-stool soda counter, just like an old time bar, and a Coke came in the traditional Coke glass, the one that sorta resembled an upside down bell. Mr. Tomney or the soda jerk would dip the glass into the bin of crushed ice, put the glass dripping with ice under the tap, pull that lever just like the handle in a bar for keg beer, and we'd watch the Coke syrup coat and cover the ice, then he'd move the glass over and top it off with super fizzy soda water.
Those Cokes were the real deal, much more syrupy, much more tasty and satisfying than the watered down corn syrup-sweetened dish water we get today.

Had to spend all day Friday catching up with my PCP in his office and getting multiple x-rays and multiple lab tests at two different facilities and new prescriptions after merely a month out of the loop. It may have just been a month, but it seemed like forever. While there, the good Doc reminded me in no uncertain terms that I am a prime candidate for ending up dead from the virus.
In fact, I think he was a little surprised to find out that I was still alive.
I remember my aunt having a old crank the records were a round cylinder.I still got some old 78. Old blues mostly and "Rhapsody in blue".
