Bought something a few weeks back. Get an email saying it's shipped UPS. Follow the tracking and they say expected delivery on 7/3. It's now a week later. UPS says they contract out with the post office for the final leg of the trip. So who do I complain to? Post office is gonna tell me they don't have it and UPS is gonna say they do.

I had a similar issue of lost in transit. Contacted CS, two days later received an email reply. They reshipped the order, but now without the small parts kits I ordered the first time around - out of stock, no backorder.

UPS delivers it to your local Post Office and they deliver it to your house. My guess is the Post Office lost it. Track it on UPS, if no luck there contact Midway and ask them to get involved. Good luck

Couple years ago ordered a knife from Midway and disappeared at local post office , a replacement was shipped ASAP. The first knife arrived two months later ,package had looked had been run over.

Never had a problem with Midway shipping, and I literally order something almost weekly. Fed-ex on the other hand left a tag on our front door that we missed them and they would be back tomorrow. Next day I saw the truck pull up and stop in front of our house. Then watched her back up and deliver a package to our neighbors house. He seemed upset that he was delivered a package marked explosive hazardous material (it was primers). Is it really that hard to read the address on a package and match it with the address on the house?

I sent a large cashiers check to Idaho to buy a high end shotgun. Two weeks go by and not check at destination. I considered that I had been swindled.
Then the seller called and said that the check arrived. He said it was addressed correctly, but ended up at an IRS office in Salt Lake. They opened it, saw what it was, and put it in another envelope and forwarded it. He said the original envelope was in tough shape

I guess with the billions of items handled, stuff happens

They sent my order to the wrong state. Then informed me that I would have to pay shipping again to my address.

I have switched to Natchez and MidSouth Shooter Supply. Much better results.

Mine was just the opposite, ordered twice from Natchez and both times they sent my order to Arkansas.

Guess some idiot thought the abbreviation for AZ was AR, then they wanted to charge me shipping again.
Disputed it on my card and vowed never again.

Look at the tracking info on UPS, go into the details section and look for a USPS type tracking number. It usually begins with the number 9 followed by about 9 or 10 other numbers.
That is usually (but not always) the tracking (usps) number for the last leg of delivery.

Don't panic just yet. The USPS has been horribly slow with packages lately.

Last month I had a shipment sit a weeks plus at two different USPS facilities as it traveled all over the county. I think the package went into quarantine at each facility before they would touch it. What normally would take a few days took over a month.

I'm going through the same thing right now. Package was to arrive this Monday, July 6th, but that came and went and they finally sent it to the USPS, the 8th. Been sitting in Dallas for the last 2 days with no movement.

I've never experienced a problem with Midway, but the post office's tracking is definitely not up to snuff. I ordered a phone case from California that was supposed to be delivered by July 7 according to the usps tracking. On the 9th it still hadn't arrived, so I checked the tracking. The last thing on the tracking was in Rancho Cucamonga CA on July 2. Nothing since. I assumed the post office had lost it. Then it magically showed up in my mailbox this morning and the tracking was updated to show movement for the last week or so.

When did UPS stop dropping off packages at the front door?

Non-Hazard should not be a problem?

I even had them drop of the packages with yellow and black or red & white Haz. labels on the package full of powder.

Lots of companies are doing the combined shipping now. UPS or Fed Ex to the city and then turn it over to USPS. Its been a total mess from the start.
I've had packages arrive in Memphis in just a day or two, only to have the post office take a week to get it to my house.

I ordered several steel targets , some quite large w/ stands , and had them in 4 days . My UPS guy was less then thrilled .

I’ve always had good experiences with Midway USA. USPS - not so much. USPS is trying to remain relevant and not go bankrupt. They started this “last mile delivery” service. UPS/FedEx to your town, then USPS to your house, I think Amazon was the first to use it. What a mess. Once it hits the post office, all bets are off on delivery.

I did hear - Package Mortars are in the testing phase.
They can deliver packages to an entire block from one firing location.
Gun guy that I am, I am so looking forward to it!

On the other hand, I order a firearm related item from Amazon and it said it would arrive on Sunday, July 5th. I thought sure, they really mean Monday the 6th, but to my surprise it was delivered on that Sunday.

I don't know if Amazon has their own delivery system or if they use someone else. I have never received anything from UPS or FedEx on a Sunday.
