Full autos reg before the new laws can not be sold or transferred destroyed by police when owner surrenders. Can't regulate handgun mags, but although they completely rewrote the ban ordinance, the 2nd district considered it an "amendment". No black semiautos in the village or mags of more than 10 rounds for them.

ISRA is still on it, so it remains to be seen if the injunction on enactment will remain while the appeals go on.

Its in Illinois, the state Chicago is in. Chicago has banned/regulated guns for DECADES.

I attach about as much importance to this as additional regulations in California, Massachusetts, NY, MD, etc.

I dont think we are in for smooth sailing, but even Obama didn't get it passed at a national level.

This is what a very vocal minority of Americans want and it is what they tell all Americans they should want, but I do not think that all Americans want gun and magazine bans/restrictions. Given the millions of first-time gun buyers this year, I think more Americans will now be in support of the 2A.

Unfortunately I think the "anti" numbers are quite large, if we are counting, add the east and west coast states population and you will come up with over 50% of the people living in the US! The pressure for strict gun control measures is very strong in those states.
