The Cross Bronx Expressway just north of the George Washington bridge being built in the 60’s. Most everything going to New England and back to points south via I95 passes through.

We used to call it the Cross Bronx parking lot  and it still is, three lanes worth. It was antiquated as soon as it was finished.

Been there stuck in traffic many times

I believe that I have posted these before but I'm not going to go and try to find my post so here they are again. :D

The video is 1 min 40 seconds long and its my ride up the the Yellow Cougar Mine not far from me.
The road is gated with 5 locks on it and I am very fortunate that one of the locks is mine.

I called them Ice Stalagmites. It was the first time I have ever seen one. The sun was shining that day,
Jan 10, 2012 and the melting snow at the entrance to the mine froze as it hit the ground in the shade.

I think they are awesome.

I have seen them one other time at a very secluded mine adit in Deer Creek Canyon near Marysvale Utah.

Just a few feet inside the mine looking out.

Down in Piños Altos, NM

I was a dental phobe as a child. (Of course, having all the free baked goods I could eat at my Dad's bakery didn't help keep my cavity count down lol) That dentist chair reminds me of "Little Shop of Horrors"!

My dentist was on Tremont and the Grand Concourse, his equipment was even more scary.

When we first got married we had a Easy wringer washer.
