I see that this thread is on the verge of 4000 posts(is this the one?). Would that not make it the longest thread in forum history?

Anyway, thanks to all for their wonderful contributions; very enjoyable.

Regards,
Andy

The face of fishing joy. :)
My friend's daughter went fishing with her dad and his retired military friends, in the NC mountains. She landed the group's biggest fish, that took a tiring 15 minutes to reel in.

All I have to contribute is a couple f pictures and short videos from grooming snowmobile trails Monday.

I call police dispatch on the radio when I head out, tell them where I'm going and when I should be done.

If I tell them I should be done by lets say 2:00 AM and they don't hear from my by 2:15-2:30 then they try to reach me.

If I don't reply by within 15-30 minute they notify Search & Rescue and they head out to find me.

S&R was notified once a few years ago because we had no contact. I was soo grateful and impressed
with how quickly they were on their snowmobiles and heading out to find me.

I finally made radio contact and it was called off. No one was upset at the "false alarm" just grateful I was OK.
I am very grateful for their service.

First I want to thank every first responder for everything they do for soo many people. Thank you.

The above picture is from Feb 8th 2019. The Sheriff requested that we haul food and supplies for a Search & Rescue for an avalanche rescue.

Several of those S&R people drove over 200 miles to be at the Sheriff's Office in Junction, UT by 7:00 AM the following morning
after the late afternoon avalanche.

No questions asked they just do it. Total selflessness.

The world is full of amazing people.

They recovered one victim and brought the other two down to safety.

Here's some of my work on a proof sheet I put together.
These are all drawn in Illustrator, I'm a Graphic Designer by trade.
Drawing the Ferrari horse logo was probably the most fun as it's a compilation of reflections, sorta like drawing/painting class.
Funny thing, the red motorcycle on the proof sheet was a Swift that belonged to a dude I once knew, but every bike he bought he totaled or layed it down, obviously not a very good rider? Last I heard he quit riding, he wasn't very bright. lol

Very impressive! Back in the day I used to fiddle with AI's competitor, Freehand (which tells you HOW far back in the day that was) but it was mosty for basic graphic layouts for a choir I used to sing with. A couple of years ago an affordable competitor emerged, Affinity Studio (they also have equivs. to Photoshop and InDesign) and I got it "just because" but it's been so long since I've done anything that I didn't have the patience to learn how it worked. Despite their low price (something like $60 or so) they are fully-featured, professional programs and don't require an annual subscription.

Thank you,
Fortunately, I have all those programs at work.
Some job, huh? I really love InDesign!
