Is anyone else being asked by your shooting buddies for ammo? It's probably my own fault for not educating them that reloads aren't actually free. Apparently that idea is floating around; at least floating around me and I like to think I choose my friends well.
Don't mind doing a favor for a friend but... Got one bud who wants to "get into reloading" due to the current circumstances. I counseled that it was not a "great" time to begin this particular hobby. Then he wants to know if I can supply him with a good starter of all the components he'll need. There's enough in the man cave for my needs but I'm not a pre-pandemic Cabela's.
I have friends who routinely hand over gallon baggies of range brass I can, and do, use. They get a box of freshly minted ammo every so often as a thank-you.
How does it work for y'all?
