I will agree that the S&W trigger group has it's advantages over the Hammerli but for my use the Hammerli works for me. The only issue I see I have to work around is proper cleaning since the trigger group can't be removed. I hope giving it a good shot of Hoppe's Spray and Lube will be enough.When I first saw the Walther's price I was about a nanosecond away from hitting the buy button, but then I did some research. The Hammerli makes use of sub-frames with a proprietary trigger group very similar to the GSG series which I own. While not "bad" it is a different system.
The S&W uses standard AR-15 FCG parts.
