I bought a used Tisas stainless Duty off GunBroker last spring for $319.00.
With all the add on's it was $381.00. I took it out and shot 104 rounds thru
it which is 13, 8 round magazines. These were E-landers and Metalform.
Not a jam. So I tried it again. No jams. After 5 iterations of this I thought the
gun was good to go. I took it out with a mix of what 1911 mags I have and it
jammed several times on the high dollar Wilson 47D's. Don't know why and
don't care. Just don't use That style mag with this gun.
I took it over to my friend who's a 1911 snob and thinks his Colt Gold cup
is the bottom of the barrel of what he shoots. He looked it over and dry fired
it and proclaimed the trigger was at least as good as the Gold cup and almost
as good as his Wilson but not near as good as his Ed Brown.
With that endorsement, I pronounce it good and am looking for another.
