This World Keeps Getting Stranger Every Day...

If I need to get anything at the local Walmart, I make sure that I'm there waiting for the door to open at 7AM. I get my items and am back in my truck as fast a possible. There are very few people in the store at that hour of the day, which is the way I like it! I guess weirdos like to sleep in?

My Best departed Grey used to go everywhere with me, even the small local drug store, his meds came from there. One day he was inside and some snootie woman asked the pharmacist , " Anthony, you allow dogs in here?" Pharmacists lowered his glasses and told the woman rather sternly," Mam, Gear has never yelled, screamed, thrown anything from the shelves or broken anything here". Ole hag shut up and received glares from the staff and other customers as everybody knew and loved him.

Sorry, all those people in the store pics have a problem. Exhibitionist, insecure, egocentric, trying out for a movie role, aching to get noticed, hook up or just plain nuts.
Animals, esp barnyard animals, don't belong in a food store.

The animals would beg to differ. Think of the kids...

As to the world getting stranger, I've come to conclude that it was always quite strange. Sometimes we hide our crazy, sometimes not.

At my physical therapy place a guy was there with "therapy fawns"; no lie! He raises real live therapy deer. I just stood there awestruck. What do you do in a year when they're full-grown deer? Therapy food?
If I had a pet fawn, I'd name it Chops!

I get therapy animals, kinda… Young animals and friendly dogs can lift patients spirits, but taking your goats to a market or your pig on an airplane is just ridiculous.

It adds new meaning to the phrase, "Clean up on the main isle!

A comfort snake or goat on your shoulder is OK.
Then I should be able to walk around and be comforted by my favorite rifle over my shoulder.
It's helps me be calm in busy and crowded situations where I would otherwise feel alone, threatened and might be harmed.
It's,,,,,simply comforting.
..and doesn't poop on the floor.

My wife works at a State Park. You should hear people whine when they are not allowed to take their support animals into the cave. She has seen people drive 1000 miles, pre-pay and reserve spaces then refuse to enter if they have to leave fluffy in a private kennel for 2 hours. I am ok with support animals in a business, I just think they should be charged with a $500 damage deposit upon each entrance.
