When I first saw the title "Your Wedding Date" I also thought it was about who you took to thr wedding. I know from expierance, DO NOT TAKE ANY GIRL YOU DON'T WANT TO MARRY TOANY WEDDING, I got engaged after a friends wedding! I had already been thinking about it, but sometimes you just can' help yourself and you say a thought out loud, then you have to stick with it or you are out of luck. After I ask and she said yes, I found out it would be 17 more months until the wedding! I think that was TOTALLY UNFAIR! If I kept my mouth shut for a few more weeks, I probably negotiated a better time arrangement! oh well, after 17 1/2 months and 43 1/2 years, I realized there is no negotiating with SWMBO! (She Who Must Be Obeyed!) But all in all, I AM A VERY BLESSED MAN!

Cannot remember the first.But this one we picked a easy to remember date.02/04/06 2-4-6. We had both been married before our kids were grown.So we didn't tell anyone and left for a weekend in the mountains and got married in a small church outside Gatlinburg Tn. When we started calling people my daughter who I raised as a single father got so mad she hung up and wouldn't talk to me for a month.

Same as me. I am 100% certain I never proposed. I believe she just decided unilaterally that we were engaged. Ever since she has decided lots of things unilaterally.

We got married four days after Christmas, which was 12 days after I got back from my second tour in SEA/RVN. Asked her to marry my dumb butt on Christmas Eve. This year will be 49 years.

We picked that date since it was a nice time of year.
28 years this past Saturday.
Bittersweet though since we had to put our beloved Oliver Kitty to sleep the day before.

The Mrs. chose the date and place. My only requirement was that it wasn't during deer season.
This is where I failed. November 16 (2nd day of gun season) was the only day where we could get the church and the hall on the same day. I had a whole smelly group crawl out of a UP deer camp and come to the wedding. [emoji23]
Well, it'll be 30 years this November and I still get to hunt on my anniversary - and she does too! [emoji3590]

Son's second marriage was on December 7th. "A date that will live in Infamy" So far, so good. 
Miss Pam and I met on august 8th, 1971 and Married on August 4th 1972...or was it the other way around, met on ther 4th and married on the 8th??? after 50 years I have a hard time keepin that straight. sigh.....
Lemme edit this post to throw out a thought I just had. My memory is ok. It's just that after 77 years I just have a LOT of stuff to remember.

Florida's General Gun season always ends the 3rd weekend in January. Our anniversary is January 31.

Met in June 79 at a mutual friends wedding and married in December.Made it for 28 years. Haven't dated much since then.Trying to avoid that 2nd what was I thinking? Marriage
