Product codes for my 3rd Gens

Hello,
I'm putting together a database and want to include the product codes for my 3rd Gens (and one revolver), but I bought all of them used and didn't get the original boxes with them.

Does anyone have the necessary catalogs to find the product codes for the following pistols?

1. 657 manufactured in 1955
2. 1026 manufactured in 1991
3. 5926 manufactured in 1990
4. 6926 manufactured in 1991

The 657 is a stainless revolver and wasn't made before 1986.

Are you talking about a 457 .45acp pistol? If so, that would be product code 104804.

Early 5926 104034; Late (1991-93) 108189
1990 6926 104064; 1991 6926 108207
You can ask S&W for information such as Manufacture date and Product Code - depending on who responds, you may get both or just Manufacture date and Manufacture date could be year or month/year or month/day/year.

No, it's a 657 chambered in .41 Magnum.

1955 was the manufacture date given to me by S&W Customer Service. Should I ask again for clarification?

Depends on what you ask for and luck of the draw as to response - wait a few weeks and try again, but you have to ask for Product Codes, they will not give you more than you ask for.

Definitely call back-that rep was drinking happy tea! The 657 was produced from 1986-2005. The code will depend on features; barrel length/type, type of cylinder (fluted/unfluted)-those kinds of things.
