I hadn't noticed that before. That's an insane price unless they plan to have it engraved and gold plated..

correction quote was $580 with case color trigger and hammer . Engrave emblem and lettering $100 -150 . now its busted so add for repair
 
Ship it to me and I'll fix the pigtail spring in the trigger. You can do that within the state without using an FFL because no state lines are crossed. It's a simple fix if that's the problem. There are actually instructions in the FAQ on this site on how to do it. Also, check out http://apwcogan.com in Newville AL. They are a secondary manufacturing facility for S&W, Ruger, et al...
