Some odd ads found here in Australia.

I remember when our local Kmart had mil-surp rifles in barrels for less than $100. Enfield, Mausers, 1917's, M-1 Carbines and Garands. I can still remember being 9 and asking my Mom if she would buy me a M-1 Carbine I was holding. She asked how much and I said $50. "$50 for a toy gun? No, I'm not spending that!". "No Mom, it's a real World War Two rifle, not a toy. It's a great deal". She was even less willing to buy it then.

Our last Kmart just closed this year. The guns disappeared long ago.
