Your “COOLEST” gun?

It would have to be this Swedish m94/14 cavalry carbine made in 1901. Just shot it last week, nice fireball.

S&W wise this 1972 M66 lettered to the Memphis and Shelby County Sheriff's Department and carried by Patrolman Larry Childress killed in the line of duty Jan. 1982.

I have very few new guns, and have no military stuff at all. I have many classics. My pic in handgun would be a plain old Ruger 22
Single-6 from early 60s. Finish worn in spots from carry in the old standard canvas shoulder bag carried by all paperboys back in the day. Never had to shoot bandits robbing me but did gun down some critters laying teeth to me.

Guns aren't cool....people are cool

Some guns are cool...............

Another of mine is "Today's Choice" an early 3913 that has a trigger job, Hogue checkered Rosewood (dark) grips, and a full 5906 hammer, add an 8rd mag with the flat baseplate..... and I've got the Devel/Trapper chopped 39 that were featured in all the Gun Rags in the mid-80s. The 39xx guns are COoool guns!!!!!!!

:D

My coolest gun in doing duty guarding the den. Hanging in a couple of 8 point deer racks in the den is my great grandfathers Gillespie 12 gage double barrel he purchased when he returned from the Civil War. It was not made by the guys in North Carolina, but is one of the Gillespie actions that was imported into New York City in the 1870s and 1880. Barrels are way to thin for me to shoot the old gal, so she does a great job watching over the Den.

Got a Winchester 1885 high wall (.22 short) and my first rifle a 1890s Stevens Favorite (.22lr) hanging on my den/office walls

That's a tough question, but these are my choices...

Coolest Handgun:

Heckler & Koch USP45 Elite -- The Target version of one of the most robust, rigorously tested pistols in history. With a unique recoil-reduction system, this hefty handgun is capable of firing .45 Super sans modifications right out of the box, yet still cycles even the lightest of .45 ACP target loads with equal reliability. What's more, the Elite model is the rarest, hardest to come by, and most expensive model available. Produced exclusively in Germany in limited production runs each year, with only a small fraction of said production imported into the United States. I was extremely blessed to find one of these babies not only in the midst of the pandemic gunbuying craze, but at an insanely discounted price of $1050 when they typically run $1500 nowadays. Definitely my coolest and most treasured firearm.

Coolest Longgun:

The Mossberg 590 Shockwave 12 Gauge FDE -- A 14" Short Barreled Scattergun which is 100% non-NFA because it was never manufactured to the legal specifications of a Shotgun. At just over 26" OAL, this firearm is extremely maneuverable in tight quarters where ordinary full length Shotguns would get hung up. Due to the birdshead grip design, this firearm has much less punishing recoil than your standard pistol grip 12 Gauge Shotgun because the recoil impulse isn't directed straight back into the palm/wrist.

My coolest, I think, is my Darne 20 gauge shotgun. It's not engraved, but it's just cool and unusual here in the states.

I have to agree with S&WChad that the High Standard Mdl. 102 Supermatic Citation "space gun" is cool, but when she goes to the range the broomhandle is the center of attention.

I think the perfect pistol would be the HS 102 with a factory Broomhandle type stock. Would be much more useful than most rigs. I've always wanted a high quality 22 pistol with detachable stock. I never ran into a good one for reasonable price that would justify fooling with ATF red tape and expense.
I burns me now all the junk the ATF rules legal but the old pre 1934 guns that have little use as a offensive weapon are still under the NFA.

For "coolest", I would say my Para Ordnance .38 Super. The Duracoat finish turned out well.

Ignore the purists, that is extremely cool and patriotic too, bravo!

In fact, it reminds me of what I consider to be my brother's coolest gun...

It's a Ruger SR1911 NRA Limited Edition -- All Stainless Steel construction with a black nitrided slide engraved with the Second Amendment and the NRA Logo, a Red Cerakote finish on the frame, and a pair of (not pictured) Red, White, and Blue G10 Grips with NRA molded into them. My brother switched out the factory grips for these Altamont snakes belly pattern grips, which I feel gives the gun a cool Coral Snake like appearance.
