I post this as somewhat relative comparison to my experiences chronicled in the thread “S&W Service Process”.

I recently acquired a used Gen 3 G19 and decided to send it in for service as I was experiencing fairly consistent “brass to face” ejection which makes shooting an otherwise fantastic pistol not so enjoyable. A short and professional conversation with a Glock representative provided the information I needed to facilitate a return. Without prompting, I was informed the pistol would be inspected, any deficiencies corrected, test firing completed and the pistol returned - all at no charge. I boxed the pistol, paid for FedEx Standard Overnight shipping and shipped it on December 7th. It was received in Smyrna on December 8th and I received return shipment notification today (December 10th) - I should receive the pistol back early next week.

I understand this is not a vintage revolver repair however I am very impressed with this experience so far!

I had the same issue, also with a Gen 3 G19. Got a later ejector, polished a couple surfaces on the extractor lightly, and no problem since. Just FYI for anyone else with the issue, pretty well detailed online.
 
The best thing to do with a Glock is to strip all the metal parts off it then send them to Smith & Wesson's forging shop to make a revolver frame.

With that out of the way, you can't beat the free upgrade service at Glock matches. You do have to wait in line at the table but while you're there you have a chance at winning a new Glock. Since you have to compete with a Glock I'll consed there is one use for them. Before the local club lost the lease on our outdoor range Glock used it. I won a Glock. For some unclear reason I bought yet another. I'm not the only one.

S&W are you listening? Well, I guess the way the market's been panic buying there's been no need for any manufacturer to listen.
 
I had a gen2 Glock 19 that developed a frame crack near the slide release after many years of extensive firing. Sent it in and they replaced the frame with a gen 3 one and also replaced most of the internal parts at no charge. Have never been much of a Glock fan but their customer service was definitely top notch.

I try to tune my reloads to drop brass just like that, so I can find it easier. And I wear a cap with a bill.

I did have one piece get stuck between my temple and my eye glass frame. Gave me a 2nd degree burn.
