Bought this about a year ago, as I really admired the white face. I originally wanted the black OEM Omega rubber strap, but it came through with the stainless band. I also purchased a Zealande brand rubber strap to change it up a bit. I can't say I am disappointed on either count…

Both are very nice, but I really like the one with the bracelet on the left....

Not totally sure if these are wartime watches, most likely early post war, but not certain, just know that these two Longines mechanical winders are pretty cool.

A couple more vintage watches

These have something in common.....

The Seiko on the left is an automatic, while the Bulova on the right is a mechanical wind watch.

What they have in common is that they both have a mechanical alarm. You can see a red area at 6:00 on the Seiko's outside dial, while the Bulova has a squiggly hand that shows the alarm setting.
Both have buttons at the 2:00 position on the case that is used to set the alarm time.

More Hamiltons

Here's a trio of Hamiltons, the stainless cased one on the right is an automatic, while the other two are mechanical winders.

I gave my wife this Lady Hamilton way back when. She passed away
February 11, 2020. I had it cleaned & adjusted, and gave it to our
great-granddaughter for her birthday. The case is 24 ct. white gold,
and six diamonds in the wrist band. I would say it's kinda sorta luxury.

I bought my wife this 14k Concord about 30 years ago~ and she still wears it today, sometimes. Great investment, I believe I pad around $1,400 for it new and now on the used market they're around $3,400. Not a bad turn-a-round, wished now I had gotten the 18k instead. lol
Ladies can pull off yellow gold, I prefer Platinum, white gold or stainless. I'd never buy myself a yellow gold watch though.

Seiko 6105-8110 Vietnam era Dive Watch

Also known as the "Captain Willard" model, bought this at a gunshow back in the late 90's. was told it was a Vietnam era model, but didn't know at the time it's appearance in the movie Apocalypse Now....

My only personal vintage watches…

The Seiko "Pogue" was purchased by me in the late '70s at either Macy's or Abraham and Strauss.
The (very pre-TAG) HEUER Pasadena was given to me by my girlfriend at the time (now my wife of almost 40 years!) on my birthday in the very early '80s. Both are well maintained and run excellent today!

Couple more

Couple neat watches, again Pawn Shop finds.....

The Zodiak has a 24 hour dial, it's the Aerospace Jet model.

The Rovac (watch on left) is an interesting one, and I cannot find anything about this Swiss watch on the web. It has seperate dials for day and date, and a window showing month. The red hand increments at midnight to indicate the day/date on the outer dials... Swiss made, but again I can't find any reference to this cool watch.
Both of these are mechanical wind watches.

It does have a nice "buttery" feel to the flow. It's been a great watch too.
