Owls in territorial and/or mating behavior. They make sounds that are beyond belief including howls, “hammering” sounds, otherworldly screeches, etc.
And old retired game warden told me that during his 35 years on the job 90% of his ghost, swamp monster, big foot, alien/UFO etc. calls were about an Eastern Screech Owl or Barred Owl or Coyotes.

Pro tip: if you are going to take a video or picture of a bigfoot make sure you smear Vaseline on the lens first.
Funny that you should mention that as there's been a hoot-owl howling by my window now for six nights in a row

It's so much fun when a bored Northern Flicker hammers on the metal chimney of your house at 0545 on a Saturday.
Steve—I was just looking at whether an owl hooting nearby would stimulate a woodpecker to start hammering in the middle of the night in a territorial warning display!? I bet it would, akin to an ambulance going by setting off every dog and coyote within hearing.

Judging from my time around fraternity guys, These sounds are indications that there is no Mrs. Bigfoot within a reasonable distance!

Last house was tabby with stucco covered window outside frames. Had 1 red bellied sap sucker that would peck holes in the window stucco. Usually during the day so ran out and shooed it away then fill hole, wait a few days and paint. Didn't shoot it as love birds and it ate at one of my feeders.

Saw a video of some bigfoot.... chasers? hunters? researchers? drunken rednecks in camo? The way they worked is they tried to get a bigfoot to respond to them. How? By howling and hitting hollow trees with sticks. Odds are, instead of bigfoot, you've got RickyBobby and Muskrat, plus assorted "cousins", wandering about. Maybe you should print up maps of the "sightings" and sell them to the aforementioned scientists.
