In honor of the relatively common Marlin 336 that just sold for $10,000+ on GB, let's show off our JM Marlin rifles that just have to be worth more. :D

Here's a favorite:

336SD made in 1958 for a Marlin employee in .35 Remington, non standard stock style for an SD but it numbers to the gun. Complete with hammer spur, sling swivels and original front sight hood.

Nice rifle. That's at least a $9,500 rifle in today's market, give or take a few thousand :)

336 SC in .30-30 that wears a 3x Leupold.

336 RC that was completely rebuilt in the old North Haven factory with a 2.5 Weaver on top.

Here is a standard 336Y in .30-30 that I sent off to Lee Hadaway at The Arms Room for a custom takedown conversion, action job, and custom refinish. I also added a Marlin factory large loop. The "Y" model has a short 16 inch barrel and the stock is 3/4 inch shorter than a standard 336, making this a very handy rifle to wield.

Even with the conversion and the custom carrying case made by a saddle maker, it still didn't cost me $10,000, but it's a fine shooting rifle.
