As long as we're having fun with knives this week let's see if any of y'all have anything like this, a custom made, fixed blade knife designed to be carried in a pocket in a purpose made sheath. "Toner" is the name of the maker.

Looks nice! Have a couple of spring assist folders for now but waiting on Sogs FX Trident fixed blade due out in July. Tanto with Kydex sheath with adj. belt or pack clip. Around $90. Like the idea of a fixed blade for cold weather carry.

Beautiful knife. Just the right size for pocket carry. I always fear a folding knife knife might close when it hits rib bones. Prefer fixed blade knives, but there is a blade size limit to concealed fix blade knives in Maryland. Just another reason to move.

Unfortunately, the arbitrary knife laws we have in Michigan prohibit carrying a fixed blade knife unless fishing and possibly hunting. The State recently dropped the ban on switchblades, but there’s a hodgepodge of local laws and ordinances that are virally impossible to navigate.
We need State wide knife preemption like we have on firearms, but it’s not likely to happen soon.

It comes without a hanger, you can buy one, so it slides right into your pocket.
I like a Yanker Paracord on these small pocket carry knives.
And be especially careful on which Sheaths you decide to pocket carry.

I have a nice 3" fixed blade bird & rabbit knife. Those fat blades have got to be strong but defeat the purpose of any pocketknife!

I've loved the concept, but here in CA fixed blade knives cannot be concealed.
A few of you have mentioned Bark River knives. How is their quality?

I have make a couple of purchases from Bark River and have been completely pleased.
Their knives are well made and can come in a dizzying selection of metals.

Pictured are half a dozen fixed knives tha I carry, or in one case will carry once I have a suitable sheath.
On the left is the Mini Skrama, by Varusteleka, a miniature version of the Skrama 240, probably my favorite big knife. The handle is just bicycle innertube stretched over the tang for thinness. The sheath is gorilla tape over pasteboard. Ugly, but thinner than the leather sheath made for it.
The orange handle belongs to the Becker BK14. The azwelke kydex gives me the option of pocket carry or horizontal cross-draw at 11:00. This is the only knife I ever wear on my belt.
The black handle in the middle belongs to my newest Anza, a WK5. I don’t have a suitable sheath yet for pocket carry. The one that comes with it is too bulky.
The rosewood handle belongs to my first Anza, which I bought from the maker’s girl friend at a motorcycle swap meet around 1981. I think of the unnamed design as a precursor to the WK5.
The one on the right is another tough work knife from Anza. It has a shorter blade and more handle than the other two. Like the WK5, the sheath was too bulky for the pocket, so I carry it in a leather slip from Collector Knives.
The one on the bottom I bought from stock from a custom maker, David Mary. The maker calls it an upswept EDC. I call it an EDC cimeter.

To take the Michigan law a step further an OTF[out the front] auto is legal BUT, it can't have a spear type point!
Bering makes a pocket style offering as well.
