Mostly a six round capacity with three five round capacity thrown in.

I'm not interested in revolvers having higher capacity than that and particularly not interested in any Smith & Wesson revolvers produced after any the seven to ten round variants were introduced.

Five and six.

I had a seven shot which was a really nice gun. I should have kept it but I was at a period in life when I wanted something else I had to part with something.

Today I stick with older six shots.

Just S&W…

One 5-shot… 9mm converted 642-1.

Four 6-shot… .44 629-1, .45 ACP 1937 Brazilian, .38 converted Victory (originally .38 S&W, converted and chopped down), and .357 19 Carry Comp (actually is in transit… should pick it up on Tuesday).

Other than S&W…

One 5-shot… NAA Sidewinder Convertible.

Two 6-shot… .45 Ruger New Vaquero Convertible and Colt Cobra (1950s, with shrouded hammer).

One 7-shot… Nagant 1895. Might get it threaded for poops/giggles…. would be neat with my Dead Air Odessa.

One 8-shot… .22 LR Iver Johnson Cadet.

Straight 6's. I wouldn't mind a 617 10 shot or a 686+ but haven't found either for a price good enough to make me drop what I've got.

J - 5 rounds (2 x 36ND, 2 x 60ND, 1 x 640-1 Pro)

K - 6 rounds (1 x 19-5, 1 x 66-4)

Happy camper with my modest accumulation.

Maybe this poll should be what your favorite revolver capacity is

The poll percentages mut be figured with some kind of public school math!

I would have preferred to know what percentage of your revolvers are 5, 6, 7, 8 or 10 but you would have had to enter how many you have of each and the polls here don't work that way. From what I have seen in the comments it looks like 85% to 90% of the guns mentioned were 6 shot with 5 in second place and everything else a distant third. Which isn't a surprise to anyone.

Polls that allow more than one choice showing what percentage of the people responding voted in each category seems right to me.
