Karma +/- and a model 13-1

A few threads down a fellow forum member posted his

"First Model 10" and his desire to find the correct grips...


I thought "I've got a set that have been sitting around and I'll never have a gun that they fit, I'll send em to him!"


So I did!, he got em today, he loves em, I'm really glad I could help and all was right with the world...................


Well, that is until I walked into a pawn shop in a little town in OK today I had never been to, got sidetracked on a plumbing run and happened upon this shop.

They had a 31-1 for $1200 , a refinished 38/44 that was rough for $2500 , and then, a dirty but super tight 13-1 4" HB for?...........................$495 minus 10% to cover the tax, out the door for $442


What grips?? N frame tire treads clamped down hard...


So, Karma minus? I gave away my grips! Karma +, I may have never found the 13 and at that price, I can afford a pair of PC magnas and have helped a fellow forum member..

Thanks, these pics are after an hour + cleaning and tossing some old faux grips on (kinda like em ).


This gun had the classic beginnings of rust in the crevices from sitting too long without lube, but I got it just in time I think, I can't wait to take it out to the range or shoot it here on the property.
