Evening everyone! I was able to get my hands on a Surefire H26 for the S&W 3000. Figured I'd share my thoughts on it. Installing the H26 was pretty easy save for the final step, getting the action slide tube nut installed. I really had to put downward pressure on the tube assembly because the H26 doesn't have enough room for the tube nut to actually screw on correctly. After it caught the threads it was an easy install. Very satisfied with the H26, it looks very smooth, and operates well with the pressure tape (H26 came with a repair order for a new pressure switch installation). Also keep in mind that mine has a little wiggle on the H26 forend but I've read it's relatively normal. What do y'all think? Anyone else have an H26 mounted to their 3000?

The Surefire H26 is a rare accessory to find for the M-3000 these days. Your setup is perfect, by the looks of it you have a SpeedFeed stock and S&W factory 2 round mag extension matching the parked M-3000. H26 provides more than adequate light and altogether an excellent HD shotgun. They don't show up often and I won't pass up the next one that surfaces. Your M-3000 looks like it is in excellent shape and not beat/battered after living in a cruiser.

Thank you! Yeah when I picked this one up locally, I was very pleased to see how well taken care of it was. I saw that H26 pop up on eBay and pretty much immediately picked it up. Now I just have to keep my eyes peeled for more accessories for the M3000!

1ActuaL3 only a couple accessories you might want to consider. Police shotgun instructor had a Remington 870 set up like yours, he added a sling and installed Trijicon 3 dot ghost ring sights. Looks like your M-3000 spent most of its life in the station weapons cabinet, excellent find and would be very difficult to improve on. Re a sling I have a Vietnam era USGI 1.25" nylon "seat belt" sling and Uncle Mikes military sling swivels.

S&W M-3000/Remington M870

Stocks are not interchangeable due to different bolt sizes. There is an outfit I believe in Texas that has M3000 parts and will make a bolt to convert a M870 stock to fit a S&W M3000. Do a M3000 search to find the name of the company.
