New grips on my 22/45

What do you guys think? Never been a fan of loud colored grips on my handguns but I feel this 22 is perfect for a pair of Zombie colored grips. And they feel way better than the garbage plastic that came on it. I also have OD green Ridgeback Loks on my HiPower. Again, way better than the thick stock wood.

Pretty sedate variety of loud to my eyes; fret not. I like them enough that I might see if I can get a set for my MkIII slabside target. I don't think I'd ever put anything like that on a Triple-Lock, though.

Thanks DC. I think you’ll like them. 22s are perfect for G10 since there’s no recoil.

I'm not a fan of loud grips either, but I could live with those. I'd prefer to think of them as "camo" grips

When I had my 22/45 MK III any grips from a 1911 fit perfectly.

Dude at the shop I bought the grips from said not a chance. Took them out to my truck put them on and took it in to show him.

The 22/45 MK IV will fit, but you gotta do some trimming. I left the factory grips on it.

I also like the MKIV 22/54 and those green grips. I'm waiting for delivery of Altamont target grips for my MKIV 22/45. Some aerosol gun cleaners will actually melt those cheap factory supplied grips ( I found out ). But I wanted different grips anyway.

I think the green looks good on it. In fact, I put a set of green G10's on my MKII and really like them although mine are more OD than Zombie.
