How to sell my Lincoln TC

Speaking seriously, a lot of people do not like black cars. They require too much cleaning. As for the black interior, that can be unpleasant if you live where it is sunny and have not fitted the IR blocking tint.

Yeah but gangsters and politicians love them, but wait, I repeat myself. :D

How about guys who grew up reading comic books?

I’m one of those Panther Platform fanatics, have a Vic and a Grand Marquis. A Town Car with 140,000 miles should still have lots of life left in it, I’d figure another 60,000 before any serious problems show up. If it’s a clean, rust free car I wouldn’t let it go for less than $7,500.

I’ve never owned a Lincoln, if my finances were more flexible I’d probably be interested. At the moment however I’m still recovering from buying a ‘63 Galaxie last fall, and I have a local guy who might want to sell his ‘63 Marauder. So many cars, so little money.

Get a quote from carvana. It’ll be higher than a stealership. For fair and obvious reasons a stealership cannot offer you retail.

Yes, the TC is the Signature Limited Series.
I tried Carvana and they were less than the dealer. I also tried other sites willing to purchase the car for very little.
Thanks

That’s a nice looking Town Car. I really like that color.

Thank you, I like it too.

Its not white, black, red, green or tan. :D

I looked at a lot of them before I found this one.

It really was a clean one owner owned by an older lady.
She bought it new in Nov 2006 and only had it serviced at the
dealer. I bought it 2 years ago with only 76,000 miles on it.

Its been problem free and I have added an amazing car audio system.

GREAT road cars.

Knew a guy that was in a similar pickle so he raffled the TC off. Sold 50 tickets at $100/ea or something. He got his $5k and the winner got a TC for $100 (although several bought multiple tickets).

Sell it to KBB.they will send you to a dealer to pick up a check. wont be retail but better than trade in.

Ya need to bring it down to this part of the state and sell it. The demographics of potential buyers should be a lot better.;)

Thanks for all the great suggestions; they paid off well.
My wife placed an ad on FaceBook MarketPlace on Tuesday and the TC sold on Wednesday. A local man saw the ad, loved the pictures saying they showed a clean car that was taken care of very well. He inspected it, dove it, and handed me cash for a few hundred less than asking price; such an easy deal.
Thanks again for all the help.

2007 were the last Town Cars to roll off the Lincoln assembly line that both
the Continental and Town cars were built.

Starting the 2008 year they were assembled in the Crown Vic / Grand Marquis
assembly plant.

I have used autotrader . com a lot in the past with good results. Like other posts said, lots of high quality pictures. Cargurus . com is another good site/source.

And somehow try to dub some music to the ad playing "Hot Rod Lincoln!"

I have sold three vehicles (one being my son’s pickup) on Craigslist. All worked out very well. Car Max is the very last place you’ll want to sell a car. Tried to sell my deceased BILs beautiful 2015 Mercedes there, was offered an embarrassingly pittance price. So bad that I told the guy there to do something impossible to himself. I sold it the next day on Craigslist for full blue book value.

Looking on the internet, Carvana is a ripoff just my experience.
If you have a carmax around they gave me the best price for my wife's Chrysler 300.
