I’m driving up the Sandia Crest and I see a group of painters at the 10K trailhead.
I walk over to this Lady and say, I’m a little disappointed with what your painting.
She says, Why?
I was hoping you were painting a pic of the outhouse!
She didn’t think it was funny either!

Went down to a small Gunshow at Socorro, NM then swung by one of my
Favorite Places in these parts.
Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge.
Not many birds there, too warm, too early.
Did see this guy giving me the Stink Eye.

How bout a Citroen Coupe?
I’ve seen a few Sedans here and there, but this the first Coupe I’ve ever seen.

I was getting my winter tires put on today and saw this in the bathroom. Did a double take, then a pic:

Is this weird or is it just me? Quite aside from wondering WHY anyone would do this in the first place, I was wondering how one might do it without ending up injured on the bathroom floor.

Spent 10 days in Ohio. My grand daughter spent a night with us.

Her mom doesn't like her to get dirty.

I have been taking Mom to the Park where she used to work with her fellow Master Naturalists in the butterfly gardens every Wednesday that the weather is good. This way she can see some of the folks that she used to work with before the dementia took her abilities away. A couple pics from that day, a purple hairstreak butterfly and a large grasshopper. The eyes on the grasshopper are pretty cool looking.

Oddly, this photo reminded of artwork composition like that from the Hudson River School.
It's from Bakhmut Ukraine on Halloween. A Ukrainian artillerist on a D20 howitzer, sending captured 152mm ammo back to it's previous owners.
