I was doing pretty well since Black Friday weekend when I bought a 3913 from a buddy of mine. I declared, at that time, I am DONE for the rest of the year. Well, we all know how that goes.

I was dangerously close to my local Sportsman's Warehouse yesterday and decided to stop in to see if they got in any gems for the used gun case. No dice.

Decided to take a look at the tupperware. I didn't see this deal on my first pass, but on my second pass I noticed they had Sig P320's in Coyote color on sale for $449 (from $519). With my accumulated ExploreRewards VISA points, it took the price down to $434 and change out the door.

This was an "I can't pass up this deal" scenario if there ever was one, even though the absolute LAST thing I needed was another 9mm pistol in the stable.

Anybody else?

And I'm waiting for Wilson to ship my Beretta Centurion after they do the Action Job. They have them on sale for $1025 right now (normally $1250).

At a LGS that I hadn’t been to in a while, sitting in the showcase was a very mint condition 6” 29-3. 1983 vintage. Not a scratch or mark, hardly a turn line, with pristine Targets. And the shop owner gave me a $50 discount on the price. No box or papers, but I took it home today.

Does accidently buying a gun count :D

I threw what I thought was a low bid out on this 14-3 and it stuck, I couldn't believe my bid didn't get sniped at the last minute.
Got it for $550, oh well another wheel gun in the stable.

That will teach me not to drink scotch and play on GB in the middle of the night

End of year

I picked up an LCP, a RIA 1911, a new model Super Blackhawk, a Model 36 flat latch, a nickel 36-1, and an unfired 469. All about $500 each. And next week I'm looking at a SA58(FAL). I'll get some pictures.

I checked the local gun forum before I went to bed on Christmas Eve at around 1:00 am. I’ve been kind-of looking for a stainless 16” 44 magnum Rossi 92 for about a decade. A guy about 30 minutes away had listed one Friday evening. I posted that I’d take it, if it were still available, and went to bed. When I woke up, it was mine. I met him on Christmas Eve. Great day

I fulfilled my New Year Resolution of “2022 being the Year of the 22” by getting a Ruger Birdshead Wrangler on Friday. I don’t have a resolution for 2023 yet.

I bought a 1951 first generation colt cobra still sporting its plastic colt grips it's my second cobra the first one being a 1972 model and my third lightweight when I add in my 1995 442.All three are fantastic pocket carry pieces.

Duotone finish? Those grips are also getting hard to find these days.
