These great guns keep showing up in my life and I can’t say no. Picked up this 60 no dash 3” last week. This in addition to a 915 last week, 27-2, 29-2, 25-2 two weeks ago and a hand ejector three weeks ago.

Slow your roll!

Jeez...how about leaving a few revolvers in the Sunshine State for the rest of us to buy! LOL! Just kidding. You've had a busy holiday season- congratulations on your acquisitions. I suppose that you'll be down at the Lakeland R&P Show later this month to continue to build your collection. I'd better get there early! Enjoy!

It's an illness with no known cure!! There will always be "just one more." All you can do is deal with it the best you can. After 50+ years of buying, selling, and trading, I know what you mean. By the way, nice gun; don't see alot of 3" 60's around anymore. Enjoy.

Okay Murphydog and Baxter6551 and apparently several other folks know something I don’t. More info on these John Jovino NYC guns please. Now I’m intrigued and may need to get a letter on this one. SN is AEW1535.

I’ve come to like all J frames. I’ve never handled a square butt before. I have to wonder what they shoot like compared to a round butt.

Nice find. Do you know what the year is, I am not very familiar with them. Thanks for leading me down another rabbit hole. Gotta investigate this one.

PS Love Live Oak FL. great place to live if you like the rural lifestyle.

Jovino mod 60s

To the OP! The Jovino mod 60s, 3" HB SB, were produced in 1972 with 171 guns made. These all were serial numbered in R56962-R57239. Your gun, with an AEW serial prefix was made in the early 1980s. There are a few different product codes for the 3" HB SB in the 80s & 90s. If you had the original box, it would tell us when the gun was made under which product code.

ADavis60, you mention one that definitely belongs on a different forum page, the Model 915. Have you posted pix of it over there for those of us who get excited about bottom feeders as well as wheelguns? If not, why not? :D

Without context, kind of wonder what exactly you was referring to... :D
