Steeler Fans

You have to understand the mentality of the owners of the Lions to make sense of their record. The Ford (yes the car company) family owns them and the mentality over the past several decades has been to never over invest so long as the box office was making a profit. The newest member of the Ford Family to take control of the team, Shelia Ford Hamp, may be shedding this line of thought. As witnessed in the past two seasons, the Lions are making an earnest effort to built a team that could become contenders. As a life long resident of SE Michigan, and thus a Detroit sports supporter, I hope they continue on the road they are currently on and don't get constrained again by budgetary / meddling decisions.

This sounds exactly how the Pirates are run.

Kimo therapy was not a good thing. Now, I met him at a charity function put on by Alan Faneca & his wife, for breast cancer. Many Steelers were there, of course. When I met Von Oelhoffen, he was a real nice guy...OFF the football field. I DO agree, he got the chance and took it. Of course I'm probably the only person within a 100 mile radius of PGH that would admit that, but I know what I saw.

The AFC North is a tough division. We Cincy folks have learned to never take Baltimore, Cleveland and Pittsburgh lightly.

All Bengals fans here in the tri-state are worried about the blossoming Kenny Pickett. He can ball!

How about those Cowboys? They play at Tampa Bay tonight. So how are they going to do in the playoffs? Consider this:

1. They played horribly in their last two regular season games. Their final game against the Commanders was one of the worst they've ever played in their entire history, so they have zero momentum going into the playoffs.
2. They have not won a road playoff game since 1993.
3. They have only 4 wins versus 11 losses in the postseason in the last 25 years.
4. They have never beaten Tom Brady.

Therefore, I predict a blowout win over the Buccaneers.
If not, the Curse of Jimmy Johnson continues.

Most of the Play Off Games have been pretty good. I don't really have a favorite team, just want to see a good game.

I can't remember which either Jack Ham or Jack Lambert said about the rules for hitting the quarterback "Maybe we should dresses on them!". To me that is one of the best quotes in football.
