Have a question:Victory 22

My Victory barrel seems to loosen every 15-20 rounds with the resultant rounds heading for 6 o`clock and beyond. Of course I have gotten in the habit of carrying a wrench that fits the barrel/frame bolt but has anyone discovered a fix for this ? Some kind of vinyl/plastic crush washer maybe?

I think some have used a rubber O-ring.

S&W came out with a new screw for your issue. It was free but you might have to pay for it now. I'd get several.

Use just a very small drop of blue lock-tite or similar product. Several years ago I ordered a couple of replacement screws that accept a larger allen wrench that was an improvement.

Get the o-ring. S&W sent me a new screw but I have yet to use it.

Thanks to everyone for the scoop. I just spoke to S&W and they`re sending me a new screw on the house. And I will hit Lowe`s within the next week or so for the O ring too. John

Once you get the new screw the O ring will not be needed. The new screw works very well.

Yep. Mine has never come loose and I've removed it many times.
