Back to the 1905 hand ejector I asked about a few days ago. I pulled the stocks off and noticed the initials RJ and SJ written in pencil on the back of the stocks. There is a space between them that makes me think they're two different initials, not one set of four letters. Any of you deep historians have any idea who they might belong to? No big deal, and for all I know they might belong to someone who owned the gun at some point.

The only reason I found them interesting is that RJ just happen to be my initials, and my wife's are SJ. We found that amusing. My wife said "I told you to buy that gun. It was meant to be ours."

Likely a past owner, relative to identification if needed. Happy coincidence though. Best regards, TH.

OMG , if that 1905 is a 32-20 Winchester!! I believe you’ve found The Original, Robert Johnson Revolver!!!
Congratulations, what a fantastic discovery!!

Send me $50 and I'll tell you who the initials belong to. :D ;)

Really? You'd do that for ME? ;) If only I'd seen this yesterday.

You see, I'd take you up on it, but the gun locked up on me yesterday the first time firing it. I took it back to the dealer and they gave me a full refund, so I guess it doesn't matter any more.

But thanks for the offer. :D 'Preciate it.
